Hi everyone , so I recently changed the ignition cylinder lock on my 69 Corvette and everything went smoothly, I put everything back together exactly the way I took them apart by following photos I took along the way as I was taking them apart, I know other people have encountered similar issues before, now something is setting off the horn and I can't figure out why, when I turn the steering wheel left or right it goes off, I have attached some photos not sure if it helps. I don't know if it's a wiring issue or something else making contact. Horn was working fine before the ignition replacement. Any help much appreciated.
does anyone know what the purpose of that small piece of metal or plastic that is sticking out on the right side, is that supposed to make contact with something although I don't think that's the problem, just curious.
