You will probably get away with a set of 4x6 plates that are 8-ohms as long as you're not cranking it for long periods of time. You could even add a heavy 2 ohm resistor (ceramic or such, 25w+ type of thing) in series to bring it up closer. The speaker impedance isn't linear while the resistor is so the sound will suffer some but the stock radio isn't going to be great anyway so you might not even notice....
Most aftermarket speakers are only 4 ohms and that's not going to work out.
If you're sticking with the stock radio I'd stick with the proper 10 ohm speakers so as to not risk hurting the radio

I've driven 10s of thousands of miles with nothing more than a Bluetooth speaker and my phone. If originality means more than sound quality, leave the original speakers alone.
Keeping the original radio, I have found two options for speakers:
1. AC Delco 16033662. Now discontinued, but reproduced by OER here: https://www.oerparts.com/product/196.../16033662.html
The description claims a square magnet, this is BS....its round like the pictures show. This is a new 6x4 10-ohm speaker.
2. speakerex.com has a rebuild kit that is not listed on their site for unknown reasons. You must contact them to order.
