1974 L-82 4-speed (Super T-10) Coupe. I'm currently buying a bunch of parts to replace my clutch and do some other overdue tasks while I'm in there. My question is:
Does the super T-10's side cover (with the two shift shafts) seal to the transmission body with RTV or with a gasket from the factory? And what would you suggest I replace it with.
One bolt is missing from the side cover. I know it is a 5/16-18 thread, as I verified the threads from the missing hole are sound. What length are these bolts and where can I find "correct" ones?

I found a pre-cut paper gasket on eBay, put a skim coat of RTV on it, sealed it up, no leaks at all. Also changed the shift shaft seals. The nine side cover bolts are 5/16-18 and 3/4" long. I ordered those from McMaster Carr. Turns out I was missing 3 bolts from my side cover!
