In 80-81 C3s, Hurst shifters required a different adapter/mount/linkage kit. It is NOT made anymore, and rare. If that's what you need. I'm sure it can be adapted, though.
I can try to get a photo, if that's what you need. There's a Hurst shifter in my 80 with a Super T-10 4-speed.
You could also contact Long Shifters, and see if they have a solution for you on the shelf.

That does not appear to be the right shifter for a Corvette. Doesn't mean it can't work, but you'll be reinventing the wheel.
Here's the page from the Hurst catalog that gives you the right part numbers.
