Clip/Retainer
1975 Vert L48 manual 4-speed
I thought I had this retainer pin/spring/clip in properly, but I found it on the concrete below my clutch arm at the bell housing.
Anyone for a depiction from the Assembly Manual on the proper way to insert?
I don’t even know what to call it.

The straight leg goes through the hole, and the top “curl” goes against your clevis to put a bit of side pressure against the clevis. Put it in with the straight leg facing down. Push it down until it clicks in.

Thanks.
I guess it is a little bent out of shape. I will squeeze it in a little to add some pressure.

Oh, and it's called a "G" clip.

Well, I hope I got the “G” clip in the g-spot!
I felt it click when it went on this time.
Thanks for the help.
