77 Throw out bearing question

77 Throw out bearing question
Hi all,
Doing a clutch on my '77. The original throw out bearing was round where it goes into the fork. The new National bearing has a cam type lobe instead of being round.
My question is, does the lobe go inside the fork or outside ??

This is the T/O bearing for a C3. 1 1/4". Unless the factory clutch linkage has been somehow modified, this is the bearing.

I would say. Return incorrect throwout bearing. Purchase correct throwout bearing.
