Hood question on a 72

I am looking at a couple of 72's. One of them has a smooth hood with a raised section in the center. The other has a raised center section hood with a couple of vents in it, much nicer looking. Why are they different?

Sounds like you're describing a stock smallblock and a LT-1 or factory big block hoods :cheers:
