1980 Passenger side power door lock/window replacement?

1980 Passenger side power door lock/window replacement?
How do I replace the harness? Do I remove the glove box for plug access?

Not sure how to diagnose which side or where possible short is. Both switches lock/unlock the drivers side door only. I bought a new power door actuator just in case but doesn't work and I get a bout 5 volts when I hit the switch on the gray /tan connector.

Best place to get the actuator harness is Rock Auto. That was the only place I could get just the single actuator harness pigtails. It did fix the problem and I did not need to install the "questionable" quality reproduction actuator. 
EDIT: more to the point - the contacts inside the harness at the actuator were bent and not making a good connection. I just replaced both pigtails at the actuators. Cheap and easy.
