I have a 76 corvette with an L-48. I have replaced the fuel pump 3 times and replaced the line from the pump to the carburetor and still not getting any fuel. I do have fuel to the pump. Does anyone know what else i can do?
Is the lobe that is on the cam shaft moving the lever on fuel pump?
Quick check would be to bypass the mechanical pump and plumb in a cheap electrical fuel pump.
Did you check the sock in the fuel tank on the sending unit. Does your year have a bladder in the tank? Has the bladder collapsed? Pull the hose off at the tank and blow some compressed air and denatured alcohol and see if it comes out on the carb side. Put a hose from the frame rail fuel line into a bucket and see what comes out. Jerry
OK, So you are certain you have fuel to the pump? Have you blown backwards down the fuel line from the pump to the tank? Does fuel come rushing out of the fuel line? Or just trickle?
Assuming you have good flow from tank to pump.
Pull the pump one more time. This time hold the pump pushrod up with your finger. Any retaining bolt lossened off. Have a helper crank the engine while you push up on the pushrod with your finger.
Does the pushrod go up and down? Does the pushrod show any wear on either end?
When installing the new pump are you engaging the pump lever with the pushrod? Is there some resistance to push the pump up until it mates with the block?
Answer all of this and the fault has to be in here some place. 3 bad pumps? Not likely. But then, are they all the same brand? From the same store?
Bad batch of pumps?

Check the filter in your quadrajet card and your accelerator pump, these could be your issue
