Anyway, your talking about the wall behind the seats that is part of the birdcage. Which is covered by carpet, and it looks like this is almost exactly the area the console covers. Couldn't you just fab up a repair panel from sheet metal? Once the carpet and console, and storage compartment frame is installed. No one will ever see this repair.
