Congrats on a job well done.
How do you like the BBC side pipe combo.
I finished my '74 and cracked the block shortly there after with a pin hole in the lower radiator hose.
Now I keep going back and forth about doing a 406 sbc and keeping the new rear exhaust or swapping in a 454/sidepipe combo, for about $2.5k extra
Are you super happy with the pipes?
Are they too loud? which muffler do they run.
I have one straight pipe race car and don't need to **** off the neighbors much more then that.
I'd like it to sound solid and good but not super loud.
I LOVE the Big Block and side pipes!!! It's always fun going through a parking lot and setting off alarms :auto: :auto: If someone will instruct me on how to post it I will post a video w/ sound.
You all have great looking cars, Thanks for sharing.
74 ROADSTER that billet grill is DA BOMB!!!!
I had a good start on this car, the previous owner had already built the drivetrain and suspension. It has MSD distributor, MSD ignition, Be Cool rad. , Spal fans, Helwig HD sway bars, ETC. The car runs and drives GREAT. I have a friend with a Body Shop that painted it, and I did the interior, (my first attempt). This one was more or less practice for what's to come with my 76. I plan on enjoying the 74 for a while then will probably need to sell it so that I have money for the 76. I already have a 383 being built and I am starting to buy suspension components.
Thanks again for all your words of encourgement, it makes all those late nights and bloody knuckles worth it.

Looks great. Your color is very close to mine. I'll bet you get many compliments. Was cruising the beaches today. Wish I had a lead car with a camera in it. Nothing looks better than a Stingray coming towards you and that V8 snarl.
