72 front crossmember or extensions do not fit
I finally wanted to install the front crossmember extensions (angle to the front bumper), which were missing on my car. During the installation I realized why they were not installed. The holes don't fit because the crossmember is about 1 Inch too close to the front bumper.
The frame was restored in the 90s frame off and the car was repainted in 2016. According to the pictures I have of the restoration, the car is accident-free.
According to AIM, I can't find any elongated holes in the CROSSMEMBER EXTENSION BRACKETS for possible readjustment.
Do you have any ideas?
Is it perhaps a wrong crossmember?
Also strange are the nuts on the top of the crossmember marked on the pictures, which are unused and not present on pictures of original crossmembers.

The crossmember location is determined by the position of brackets #22. The bumper location is determined by bracket #1 and brackets #7, #18, and shims #25. You also need to keep in mind that the outer bumper attach points impact the fiberglass so there needs to no zero pressure exerted on that joint, other than the clamping force of the bolt, otherwise you will risk cracking the fiberglass.
