Wrong tires
Bought 1981 used. Had bigger tires on the back, although tires SHOULD HAVE been the same size. Whoops previous owner.
Switched back to stock tires, but there's something off- it CLUNKS.
Jacking it up...

Well, at everything. You could get more in detail about the clunk. Like when does it clunk, etc. But there are a few things to look for under there. Probably start with the U joints.

Did it clunk with the old tires on? When is the clunk heard? Remember, with the car jacked up you shouldn't spin the wheels as the half-shaft angle is too acute.

If it's an automatic and it clunks going into gear, the rubber pinion snubber bushings are worn.
