I have a 72 BB 4 speed that came with a 3.08. I just had my diff rebuilt and decided to go with a 3.36 because it was a factory option with the base 4sp trans. Unfortunately I don’t have the car back on the road yet so I can’t tell you the difference.
The difference between the 2 is probably gonna be minor, a couple hundred rpm but I also want to drive on the highway so I’m good with that.
