Default pulling transmission
pulling 73 muncie trans in order to raise engine do I have to remove motor mount bolts?

No, but I would remove the distributor and the exhaust. You will have to tilt the engine down in the back so the input or pilot shaft clears the bell housing. Support the engine with a block of wood and a jack. Jerry
