Continue to turn the window crank???
Perhaps , just for fun give us just a little more information.
Standard roll up windows? Power windows?
Year of the car?
And most importantly, what trouble shooting have you done so far?

If the window isn’t straining to go up and down I would first check out the upper stops in the tracks. It might be as simple as adjusting them up a bit.

Yes to this, especially if you are only lacking a small amount of travel.
Could be old motor, stops need adjustment, or just needs to be cleaned and greased. I am working on my passenger window now and it is missing parts, dirty, and has the original motor. I purchased a crappy chinese replacement motor (wasn't aware it was chinese when buying it), but now that I see how dirty the guides are and missing some parts, that may have been the bigger issue.

the window goes up and down fast its just dont go up all the way. Sorry this is my first vette!
The windows really don't operate any different than any other American car of this era.
No rocket science here. Perhaps just remove the door panel and adjust the upper glass stops. Just go a little at a time with adjustments. Go to high and you can break things.
Have you gotten around to purchasing a genuine GM service manual for your 76 yet? Now would be a great time if you haven't. I understand a lot of people today like to watch repair videos. But the step by step instructions by the people who designed and built your car can't be beat!

Where can i get the service manual ? im from Canada. i check to get the hayne book but no luck arround here
The Haynes books really are NOT worth having.
look on ebay for a good used one or a copy. Some people reprint them. The reprints often have poor pictures I'm told. But I have a reprinted one I bought years ago and the pictures are fine.

Download the free pdf doc for '76 from GM Heritage site -- link is in my signature block.
I'd also recommend the AIM (assembly instruction manual) for '76. These GM docs were used on the line and shows parts and locations. They also have instructions to the line workers on how to do things like align the windows.
The AIM and service manuals are available from all sorts of Corvette parts vendors, NCRS, Amazon, eBay, etc.
