Turns over fine. It stopped starting after I parked it in the garage. My fuel gauge has not been working correctly so I checked the level with a pole. It is about one inch from the bottom of the tank. I can't see if gas is coming out of the fuel line while I am starting the car. What do you think could be the problem? Again the car ran fine when I parked it.
Why doesn't my car start? I haven't checked anything other than fuel level.
Kinda a wide open question to be certain.
Step one. Remove the air filter lid. Look into the Carburetor while moving the throttle linkage by hand. Do you see fuel spraying into the intake? If no, try dripping a little fuel in yourself and crank engine. Does it fire? If yes, it is spraying fuel than check for spark. Could just be dirty points for instance.
Do a couple basic checks and get back to us.
