just gonna leave this here, maybe it can help someone. My itermittent wiper relay and circuit board were dead. I didn’t wanna buy a new one for 200 bucks plus shipping nor I wanted to invest 25 bucks with 50 bucks shipping for new connectors so I made my own. Here is how to wire it properly. Tested, it works. You have now working speed 1, 2 and 3. Only thing that doesn’t work is the twist on the **** for intermittent speed setting.
Disconnect both connectors under the dash. Cut original harness just in the middle. On the long connector you solder/wrap together the light green and blue wire, on the short connector yellow and brown. All other ones you secure and tuck away. I did it with heat shrink tubing.
Important note: this works on the ‘78. and ‘79. which have the wiper relay harness inside the center console, just underneath the radio.
