Hello, does anyone have any tips on ignition condenser removal and install. What a pain. I’ve already lost 1 screw that stuck to magnet and went flying somewhere. Thank you.
Don't remove the screw that holds the condenser bracket to distributor plate. Just loosen
the screw enough to slide the old condenser out, then slide the new condenser in. And a slotted screw holding screwdriver helps. https://crawfordtool.com/products/ul...sd2p5013lIhwDt

AC Delco used to make what they called a "uni-set". It was a point set and condenser integrated into a single unit. It's been so long since I dealt with a "point style" ignition, so I don't know if they still sell them, but it could be worth a look.....
Thanks everyone. So I’m using magnetic screwdriver then next thing I realize is screwdriver also also sticking to condenser and mini screw. Sure enough, screw goes flying of magnetic to who knows where? I’ll check the ulman, thanks everyone.
