Does it matter which way this goes back on? is there a front and back? looks like it doesn't matter. I am about to drill holes in the crossmember for the duel VPB mono spring brackets.
By the looks of that particular photo, it appears that the holes for mounting the dif are drilled slightly off center. If so then there is a specific direction for the crossmember to frame. It could be a misleading photo but I see the holes off center.
I have two - a C2 and a C3. The dif mounting holes are symetrical, both front to back, and side to side. All you have to worry about is getting the rubbers up and dif mounting holes down. ;)
I bought the C3 thinking it would go in my C2. But I just noticed that the C3 is virtually straight accross, while the C2 dips in the center. Thus the C3 dif mounts about 1 1/4" higher relative to the frame than the C2. Has anybody else noticed this?
