Default Rear differential crossmember?

Does it matter which way this goes back on? is there a front and back? looks like it doesn't matter. I am about to drill holes in the crossmember for the duel VPB mono spring brackets.

I think there is a front and back. I may be wrong but isnt one side flat and the other, slighty angled?

The crossmember is symmetrical.

I don't remember, but check the differential holes to be sure they're equal distance from each other ;) .

By the looks of that particular photo, it appears that the holes for mounting the dif are drilled slightly off center. If so then there is a specific direction for the crossmember to frame. It could be a misleading photo but I see the holes off center.

I have two - a C2 and a C3. The dif mounting holes are symetrical, both front to back, and side to side. All you have to worry about is getting the rubbers up and dif mounting holes down. ;)

I bought the C3 thinking it would go in my C2. But I just noticed that the C3 is virtually straight accross, while the C2 dips in the center. Thus the C3 dif mounts about 1 1/4" higher relative to the frame than the C2. Has anybody else noticed this?
