80 Vette pulls, hard, to the right when braking. -- Have checked the, front, calipers with a digital heat gun, and the left caliper is much hotter than the right caliper. -- Suggestions ?
The right side caliper may be wet with brake fluid and slipping. I agree with the above if the hoses are aged or over 8 to 10years old, replace them all. I would also pull both calipers off and inspect for leakage. Have they been sleeved in stainless steel in the past? Jerry
Here's a suggestion: the left caliper may be siezed. When some pads get hot they fade. Is it possible the left caliper is siezed and dragging enough to get hot enough that the brakes are not effective on that side?
