Boy, that would be tough. My neighbor is putting the complete drivetrain from a Z06 in a 69 Mach 1 body shell (basically a Trans-Am style tubeframe with the steel body shell draped over it). After seeing that, I think the problem with the C-3 swap would be the rear mounted transaxle/suspension assembly from the C-5. It would take a major engineering effort to fit all that under a shark, I would think. But hey, nothing is impossible!

Great project! I'm looking forward to the results, especially the effect of a cross brace. There is a company that makes bolt-on cross braces for C4's and C5's, http://www.r-dragracing.com, but I have never seen one marketed for C3's. A bolt-on brace is a great concept, because it is easily removed for maintenance.
