I took this from the tanker bay of a KC-10 last summer. Kinda reminds me of a Vette though. Sleek, powerful, and ready to kick butt!! Lets not forget our people in uniform.
I have two USAF Reservist's that work for me and every year at the joint service NAS they have what they call "Employer Appreciation Day" where you get to go up on refueling flights. Been on six so far fueling F15s, F/A18s, F16s over the Gulf and WartHogs over Barksdale AFB up north.
They'd load food/drinks on board and off we'd go. Been on KC10s and KC135s. Man, what a difference between those two planes. The KC10 is like going to the theater with that HUGE window while you feel like a gerbil crawling into a drainpipe on the KC135.
My Respect & Admiration goes out to ALL of you in the military for your efforts :flag  :flag
Anyone catch that special on NOVA about the new x fighter. Those things are incrediable the way they can land like a harrier but still fly supersonic.
You think that's bad the Super Hornets (F-18) need refueling about every hour and 1/2. Talk about bad fuel economy. That's why they keep our old S-3B's (see my pic below) around as relegated tankers for the carrier and reconnasence missions. S-3B used to be the sole platform for ASW until the SH-60B took over.
