So, last night I’m out in the garage and she looks really, really good. I grab the keys and get in. Pump her a few times and hit the start switch. Boom, she fires and is sounding exceedingly good. I let her run for about 3 minutes and tap the gas pedal to unset the choke. She slows down so I can hear that little cam and the true duals talking, did I mention that it was an exceptionally sweet sound. With visions of our Florida and San Diego members posting their recent cruises, I get out and head for the garage door.
THEN I REALIZE THAT I AM IN FRIKING IOWA AND THERE’S A FOOT OF SNOW OUT THERE!
It’s driving me crazy.
I’m better now. Here come those nice fella’s in their pretty white coats.
:D
I feel your pain! I was going to drive my Formula for the first time since I picked up the plates and got the garage door open only to feel snow flakes. :cry
I couldn't even get off my block if I wanted, too much snow and my road has never been plowed. Yesterday I followed a 70 camaro SS on the dry roads, that hurt...
My solution to the snow problem was to take the vette apart and start a rebuild. That way there is no chance of starting it or even thinking about driving it until spring... or May... or ??? :banghead:
