Default Fighting front QA1 Coilover install.....

I have the shock mounted and I'm fighting the combination for seating the pigtail in the pocket and the spring hitting the wall of the frame. I know it it's all about angles but I tried raising and lowering the arm, rotating the spring and scratching the hell of it in the process. No matter what I try it clears the wall and pigtail doesn't seat or it gets seated and it gets wedged against the wall. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Do you have tension on the spring? Once the lower arm is at the correct angle it will no longer touch.

I compressed the spring using the side spring clamps. Brought the control arm up to meet the shock then connected the bolts.

Try moving the collar down so it's not in the way.

No tension on the spring, I will get back on it this weekend.

Appreciate the help, D.

Came of home from work, worked on it for 30minutes and got her seated with plenty of clearance.

It was was all about hitting the right angle (arm and shock/spring..

Nice, before you let it settle crank up the ride height. It's much easer the lower then raise it back up with weight on the tires.
