Throttle bog/ power surge
I have a 1981 that when I first got it ran super smooth but it was giving me about 5.8 mpg, later found the issue was a bad ecu and I replaced it. Right after replacing it I noticed the throttle bogs like if I was suddenly giving it little throttle boost when accelerating. It doesn’t always do that just sometimes. When it had the old bad computer it was running rich so I’m guessing maybe it fouled the o2 sensor? It also won’t idle super great. It will fluctuate maybe like 50 rpms not bad but also probably not normal. Any suggestions?
