Just acquired a '70 Coupe & the storage tray with relative hardware was missing. I've bought a used tray but no hardware came with it. While I can sort out the hinges, the latch assembly & how it operates appears to be challenging. Fortunately, with the car came this handle which I presume is half of how it hooks or locks to its mate. Would someone please provide me with pics of their complete locking assembly so I can visualize & make the necessary clip or bracket in order to lock the tray in position. I understand the storage tray was discontinued after 1972. Thanks

The thing about the window trays is that during the 5 year run, I think they changed 4 times! Did you buy a tray specific to 1970? The hardware for '70 should be the same as for '69 and part of '71. My '72's design changed to a push-button release like the 3 rear compartment doors, so I can't offer anything specific for the catch.
Do you have the assembly manual (AIM) for '70? It will show a diagram of all the parts of the hinge bolts/plastic bushings and the latch area.
