Project ideas
I've had a C4 and C5 but I've been without a vette for a couple of years now. I really like the curves of the C3 so I'm seriously considering a project car. Some ideas I have so far are:
LT1 or LT4 engine (maybe supercharged or with heads/cam package)
6-speed transmission
better gearing (3.70 or so)
C4 seats or aftermarket seats (better interior)
bigger, better, wider tires and wheels
better brakes
suspension upgrades as needed
Does anyone have any recommendations or suggestions on what year to get or any other ideas? I'm thinking a '74 on up. Also, if anything I've listed is really difficult to do or if there's anything I should look out for, let me know.

I'd actually like a convertible but it's not a big priority
I kind of like the earlier models better than the bubble glass back
I'm undecided about the chrome bumpers -- I'd have to see some up close -- don't really know a lot about the C3's
