After 5 inches of snow Thursday night Friday morning, I decided to crank the Vette up and run it for a while to exercise the gaskets  . Well sitting outside with the car running, smelling the exhaust from 355 Hp, I couldn't stand it anymore. I moved the wife’s SUV out of the way and took her for a spin. I love driving her in the winter with crisp, dense, cool air. It was great cruising around town with the occasional romp on the go pedal. It was 30 degrees and the car just loves the cold weather. After an hour I brought her home and sent her to bed. Tonight she'll be dreaming about cool weather and cruising the Boulevard.
Just wanted to share that with everyone.
I did something very similiar, but got caught in a light rain. I have sorta used up all of my "riding routes" and am looking for some new roads to have fun on. :skep:

Well - I took my Vette for a spin today (95 miles)... but no cold temps around here.. We had 75 degrees...

It must suck to live in south Fla. It was all of 34 degrees here today. Too cold for me to get out in the vette. The convertible top lets cool air right in by my left ear. BRRRR.
It was a nice sunny day with a slight north wind here in North Florida. I pulled the vette out of the garage and found a nice sunny spot behind the privacy fence to block the wind. Adjusted the windows and weather stripping on the convertible top. Put it all back together and the wife and I took her for about a 45 minute spin. Put her back in the garage and went out for some fresh seafood. :yesnod: :auto:

Today is even better.. Yesterday it was mostly cloudy.. Today - it's sunny and I'm going to take my Vette to Ft. Lauderdale Beach...to hang out at the beach a little bit.
You remember the Jeep commercial, where all you can see is the top of the car when it stops at a stop sign? That is what I'm imaginig after reading your post. :lolg:
My dad is nice enough to let me use the garage to store my car for the winter. He needed the garage to look at something on his van, so I needed to move the vette. While it is outside, I figured I'd start it for a while too. Hadn't done so in a while. When i started it, I too couldn't resist. It was night time, but has been barely warm enough so there is no snow accumulation on the ground. Mine makes a funny noise that started some time last summer. But it was a great drive. :steering:
