Thanks for the reply Split Sixty Three, The car is actually for my Uncle so I'm not directly tied into this financially although I'm sure I'll have a hand in the work being done on it. I think If I was in his financial situation right now I'd be be extremely tempted to buy this car. Sure it' snice to buy a turn key car with almost all the work done but you never know for sure what has been done to it in the past and by who. If you have all the restoration work done yourself at least your dealing with a pretty good known quantity and quality, plus it can be kinda fun getting it all together.

Well I said I'd update everyone when I found out anything. Looks like my Uncle is going to get it or at least make a good offer on it. I'm excited, looks like another fun toy I get to play with on occasion, albeit it would still be a while before the car is ready. I'm both optimistic about it and pessimistic at the same time. I think what a great car this can be when done, then in the back of my mind I'm thinking about what did I miss when looking it over or what hidden problems are we going to run into. guess it's like buying any used car when it comes down to it. Guess I'll just hope for the best and see what happens. I'll let everyone know how this story unfolds, we all know there is going to be a few surprises at least :lol: Oh yea did I mention the clock doesn't work :lolg:
