Now that we have all MSD issues cleared up and everything arrived yesterday . Who wants to come over and help install.... any takers :D :D :D :D :D
It is snowing here and is going to snow all weekend. I'd be happy to come down and install it. Just send plane ticket. I'll do the rest :jester

I've had my MSD 6AL installed for4 yrs. now with no problems. I tucked mine on the cowl behind the A/C unit with access from the removeable fender grille.

Wow, nice car! I didn't realize it was a big block until I went to your site. I was about to recommend a smaller cam.

Is there any difference between the MSD noise suppression unit ($30) and the Radio Shack unit ($15)? Reason for this is I have a Radio Shack in town but would have to order the MSD unit and wait a few weeks.

I don't have dyno figures to prove anything. So this is just my experience. A well tuned car does not do anything better with any kind of MSD. No matter who the vendor is.

I never have gained a 100-200 rpm at idle with any kind of box engauged. They only multi spark to @3000 I have used MSD 6AL on now a Crane digital. I notice no difference. I only use then as a rev limiter.

I don't have a choke on my Demon carbs and i have ran it with and without a MSD and nothing changes. I do believe in the best Dist/coil/wires/plugs.
