I have checked and replaced the 5 amp fuse, I have even installed a new headlight switch that also controls the gauge lights. Still have the problem. I admit to having a hard time understanding the wiring
diagram. But I would think that it is not wired that one gauge light goes out they all do.
I caused a second problem with the installation on the new headlight switch. One of the two vacuum hoses came disconnected on both ends. One hose goes to the switch under the dash to keep the headlights raised. I need help finding were the other vacuum hose connects.
As always I appreciate any help.

Depending on the year, one hose comes into the switch and the other goes to the bypass valve. What year is your car. As for the fuse, you need ot make sure you have power on both sides of the fuse. The way the power is supplied to the fuse is power comes into the headlight switch, down to the fuse then back to the headlight switch and out to the gauges also depending on the year
One thing is that check your ground. The bulb sockets ground to the cluster housing. To check you will need to ground the housing to the body (I clamp a wire from the cluster housing to a cross member bolt). Then “wiggle” each bulb socket to the cluster. Another potential issue is your bulb isn’t getting power from the wire inside the socket.
