i have a set of the Doug’s side pipes on my 79 corvette and yesterday when i got home i realized one of the t bolts came out and fell off. If anyone is familiar with these the t bolt system feels odd to me and not that solid, but regardless i need new hardware to remount it, but nowhere sells just the hardware. Does anybody know a place that does and can drop a link? Or does anyone have any other ideas? Ive thought about maybe drilling a hole in the bottom of the frame there and putting a bolt with a really big washer in to hold it and a ton of locktite. Any help is appreciated.
Thank you,

I would check inside the frame rail. If the nut that holds the bolt on came loose it’s likely that it fell backwards rather than rotating and coming out of the hole. You will need a telescoping magnet to fish it out.
If you don’t find it though and only need one I imagine you could take a 3/8” bolt or piece of all-thread and weld it to a small piece of plate. Much cheaper than $50, and would be ready long before June.
I have had to make the t bolts before because nobody ever stocks them. You can't use a carriage bolt though, it will not fit through the slot in the frame where the aftermarket side pipe mounts.
Thank you all for your responses. As one of you mentioned yeah 50$ is definitely not ideal and i did look for it in the frame i couldnt find it so its gone forever LOL. I’m starting to think about drilling a 1 inch or 1.5 inch hole in the bottom of the frame to slip a bolt with a big *** washer on it in there and then i can get a wrench on it to tighten it down with a rubber bushing and some locktite. I can get all that for 15$ and have it done soon. Is there any unforeseen downside to this im not thinking of? Or if someone could please link a place that has the hooker set in stock i would greatly appreciate it.
