Default 1982 Rotor Button difference? D448X vs. D468?

Can anyone tell me the difference between the ACDelco distributor rotor spec'd for a 1982 Crossfire distributor? ACDelco D448X (19110934) and D468 (19106651) are both listed for the 1982? The pictures supplied by the different part houses look the same as far as construction except for color, D448X is whitish and the D468 is grayish. Which one should I purchase?

The cheaper one D468 uses an aluminum contact, the D448X uses brass. Use the D448X.

D448 is NLA and was mfrd in USA , D448X Hecho en Mexico , D468 - mfrd dunno
My newest Delco Ignition catalogue is from 2002 and the highest rotor p/n is a D465 for late '90's to 2001 applications so who knows what the deal is with the D468

I dug a little deeper on Al Gore's Amazing Internet and found the "ACDelco Online Catalog'. i don't know why I didn't come across it in my earlier searches guess I was putting in the wrong buzz words. The Google AI creature was steering me only to the big box auto part houses. All I had to do was plug in "ACDelco Online Parts Catalog" and Duuuhh, it came right up.

Here's the link:
ACDelco Online Catalog

Turns out that rotor button D448X is the only one listed for the 1982 Corvette in the search.

Thanks, MelWff and QIK59 for responding

Mike,
You are most welcome and great to hear that you were able to find a Delco on-line catalog

I couldn't understand two Delco / GM numbers for the same application - looks like just a Rock Auto cataloging error - the D468

The D448X came in 2005 replacing D448
The D448 came in 1988 replacing D433
And the D433 started in September of 1981

Back in the day (late 80's ?) I had bought both D433 and D448 trying to discern the difference - never did find a difference

I agree with the upgraded part number comparisons. Sometimes I think they do a part number change and claim it's an upgrade when actually it's just a way to charge more for the part. -Mike-
