Power steering pump brackets, same or diff for BB and SB.

Power steering pump brackets, same or diff for BB and SB.
I am looking for a BB power steering bracket and was wondering if it was the same as a SB, probably not, but just thought I would ask. Anybody got one with a correct power steering pump? I need em.

Parts book shows for Group 6.606:
65-67 (396, 427) and 79-74 (454) (exc H.D.) use BRACE pn 3946000
65-68 (427) and 70-74 (454) use BRACKET 3946002
74-82 use pn 3928493 a BRACKET KIT, w/ SUPT
The A.I.M. for my 1980 SB shows pn 3887107 for the bracket and pn 3874432 for the support.
The Power Steering Pumps (group 6.605) show:
65-73 pn 7808286
74 pn 7816847
75-79 pn 7818044
80-82 pn 7839822
I see from your signature that the car is question is probably a 1969. The application dates are correct for the bracket i.e. the parts manual does not include 1969 with a bracket #. This seems to me to be a type-o in the parts manual. Seems like 1969 would use he same bracket at the other big blocks.
In any case the SB and BB brackets do not show the same part number.

No, the power steering bracket is not the same for a big block as it is for a small block. Just an FYI I have the bracket sitting in my basement if you are interested in it. The bracket is brand new and was purchase from Corvette Central. I don't really like power steering so I eliminated the pump and looped my lines...handles just like rack and pinion. Drop me an e-mail if you are interested in the power steering bracket.
