Default 1969 350 Ceramic boot spark plug wires

I'm swapping out the rubber boot spark plug wires with ceramic boot on the 69 350. I want to rout under the Hooker headers to help against heat. Rather than me reinventing the wheel. Can those with success with this, recommend the wires and wire looms that are known to fit? I considered purchasing big block wires thinking they would be more than long enough. Your help is appreciated.

1inxs,

I purchased these in 2022, MAXX 510CR 8.5mm Ceramic Boot Spark Plug Wires Small Block Chevy 305 350 400 HEI MAXX 510CR 8.5mm Ceramic Boot Spark Plug Wires Small Block Chevy 305 350 400 HEI.

My then new Dart aluminum heads positioned my shorty headers too close to the spark plugs and I didn't want to hammer the headers. The ceramic boots fit tight against the headers but nbd as they work great, and the headers don't care. Notice, these are for an HEI type distro. As I went overhead with my install, I routed the wires with the guides clips that connect via the valve cover screws.

I would get cut to length wires and either find someone with one or buy a dedicated spark plug wire crimping tool. After fighting with too many kits that are “supposed” to fit I won’t do it any other way anymore.

I have Hooker side pipe headers.use Accel shorty header plugs and Moroso 90 degree spark plug boot wires. No need for ceramic.

Jegs branded cut to length ceramic boot wires work and fit great. The terminals are the type that "snap" on and I had no issues getting them to work with the stock looms. One of the header tubes was in the way so I ran that wire in a different direction.

I used Taylor cut to length ceramic boot wires routed like the factory with the 1, 3, 2 and 4 wires routed thru the engine mounts. Works fine with my headers.
