American Racing Headers
I am restoring a 1971 LT1 and the only engine part being reused is the block which has been decked to 9.00", stroked to 383 with 6" rods. The heads will be AFR 195's. The guy at AFR recommended American Racing Headers and I am asking if anyone has had any experience therewith or knows anything about them.

I had them on my C6, fit and finish was right there with Kooks. I also had them ceramic coated and it made a huge difference in under hood heat. This was when I was living in Phoenix, so yes heat was an issue….😂
Also the speed shop doing my cam recommended them as well.

I put the 1 3/4 ARH headers on my 69 C3. They clear the Z-bar and the Borgeson box. Great fit and quality. If you look inside the collector and see the way the pipes merge and how nice they look inside also, you'll see why they are more $$ and why they make more power and torque than many less expensive headers. I'm pretty cheap, but that was money well spent.
