Default Tracing a water leak

I was under my 69 L36 today and noticed a leak coming from the area of the starter motor. It looks like antifreese. Not real bad a couple of drops on the ground. Upon further inspection the starter body was moist/wet. Does any one have knowledge of where the leak might be coming from?. I thought I read somewhere that there is a freese plug above the starter. Is it a hard job to replace a plug if that's the problem. Any thoughts. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

There should be a freeze plug behind the starter. My 80 has one there. It's really no big deal to replace. Just remove the starter and pop the plug out. You can buy a rubber plug to go in there or with a little extra work you can get an original one in. I suggest you use the rubber plug for a short term fix. My experience with freeze plugs is once one goes the rest will follow. You will need to pull the engine to replace all the freeze plugs. Good time to clean the engine compartment and engine while you got it out.
