Window won’t wind up. Worn part. What to do?
Hi guys.
My drivers side window has been getting worse nor to the point now where I have to Pull the window up whilst winding (wobbly winder) Lots of play in the slotted part (circled in pic). I don’t see the slotted part for sale anywhere. I have new bushes and the star part installed but it’s all over the place.
So, shall I get a guy to weld up the slotted part and re cut the slots? Thoughts?

Hey. Yeah I buy a lot of stuff from the states. It’s just a ball ache if I end up with an old crusty part like I already have. I’ll get both door cards off (again, for the umpteenth time…) and compare them as the pass door is pretty good
