Are original Braided wires for 71 BB solid core

Default Are original Braided plug wires for 71 BB solid core

If they are than they will have to come off for the MSD :confused: :confused:

I don't think they were.

They were braided to suppress the radio only.

I have NOS date coded braided wires that I put on about two months ago and now that I am adding the msd 6al it says not to use solid core wires.
these are NCRS approved wires (not that I care) but I like the original look and I figured if they are nos that they might be solid core???

They are solid core wires. That said, I ran a set of them for about a year with an MSD 6A box with absolutely no problems at all. I asked here, and a bunch of people were or had done it. Your mileage may vary...
