I need to make sure they paint it the red that came on the 1980 vettes
i looked on the door jam and found a tag dose 83L mean the paint code?

The "L" stands for "LOWER". The '81 & '82 Two tone cars will have a "U"(upper color code)and "L" for lower color code.

thats true but he said 80... that and the 81 and 82's didn't have a two tone red. (so my book tells me anyway :lol: )

'81 and '82s did have that Red over Dark Red two tone combo.
