I am troubleshooting a problem with the wiper motor and I have narrowed it down to this connector but I cant seem to find it. Anyone know where on a 73 it might be?
That represents the fuse panel/bulkhead connection. One side is on in the engine compartment (side with the engine stuff on the schematic) the other side is at the driver side foot well. Notice for example take purple wire in the top left corner of the part you circled. Take the two "half" and "fold them together. The purple wire on the engine side lines up with the purple wire on the interior side. In between the two wire connections is the fuse. That's for both of those shown. Make sense?
Found it, thank you.
Now to the actual problem, I removed the small bolt that secures the bulkhead connector and the yellow wire for the wipers is broken at the connector.
Its really tight in there, any ideas on how to repair it? I have a pic but having trouble uploading it
The wiper motor yellow wire would be on the engine harness.
I would see what connectors need to be unplugged just so I could pull the bulkhead connector to a spot where I could work on it on the top side...
Is the wire broken at the crimp connector, or do you have a short length of wire to work with, solder, crimp type of repair?
Looking at my 1977 drawing the wiper motor yellow wire gauge size is #18.
If the wire is broken right at the bulkhead connector and a new crimp connector is needed a #16-14 male terminal is Delphi #2971962.
You will most likely need to purchase multiples...

I pulled the bulkhead and this is what I found. Any ideas on how to fix it while still in the car would be appreciated. Its really cramped space and little room to work with.
Ideal would be to pull the harness and fix it on the bench but before I do that I would rather see if someone has a way of doing the repair without having to do that
