Found my electrical gremlin...
A couple of times last week Vaal stumbled when making a right turn, like all power was lost for a couple of seconds. I suspected loose battery cables and snugged them up after the first occurance. When it happened again, I figured I better look under the car. It didn't take long to spot the problem. The ground strap on the engine had lost it's bolt and was laying next to the starter. It was trying to weld itself to the positive terminal on the solenoid. The arcing had destroyed the nut on the starter and ate half of the loop on the ground strap.
So next time your under the engine, make sure those bolts are tight. :smash:
