Hey Folks,I need to replace my leaking pinion seal.Looks like I need to remove that differential bracket to get to the seal!!??Do you have to relieve the spring pressure to be able to remove that bracket and snubber?Any advice! Thanks

I have changed the bushings without doing anything to the spring.
The nose of that bracket should have two bushings one above one below.
Thanks,I was more worried about removing the differential bracket itself.I'm going to install new bushings while I have it apart.I'm pretty sure i'm going to have to unload the rear spring to take the tension off the bracket.I think with the bracket removed I can get to the pinion seal easier?I'm going to replace the bolts and cushions on the spring while i'm at it!

When I replaced my snubber bushings, the bottom looked really good so I questioned whether they needed replacing. The upper one was smashed flat from 49 yrs of installation. I installed rubber, not poly.
