Wiper Bay Sealant
I cleaned the entire wiper bay and then applied 2 coats of “liquid flex seal in a can” because of its resilience to high temperature and is resilient flexibility. The spray version of flex seal is nowhere near as durable nor flexible nor heat resilient as the flex seal in a can., something to be aware of when attempting this project. After this, I will be running a bead of sealant underneath the ledges of the windshield where you’ll find some rivets that are exposed and have hollowed out centers in some cases, these areas will definitely allow water to seep into the dash area. To get the caulk up where you need it you need a flexible caulk tube attachment. When this stuff dries, it really looks pretty good. After this, I’ll put a cover over the top of it. You’ll really never see this but it’s nice to know that I have it completely sealed up, but it looks so much better than all that other goop that was in there. I’m happy with it. This picture shows that I just did it so it’s gonna show up a little bit different when it dries it seems to form out without any brush marks looks pretty good. More miles with smiles! Powe.
