Rear Posi Peculiar Problem

Got it apart. Apparently was redone 20 years ago with bad urethane stuff -not a spec of filler remaining. The installation looks like it would've been fine if the urethane hadn't failed.
Now waiting for FedEx.

Yikes - that looks like it was definitely the problem unless there was some sort of a magnetic levitation/repelling action going on there to keep the TA properly floating on air around the bolt

Poly bushings in TA was a mistake 20 years ago yet 100's were sold. I had a set of Offset arms shipped to me that were never installed on a car. The sat unused for years, the poly crumbled away at the touch. The only poly bushings I saw last were semi-poly, if that is a thing. They were what Tom's used and were never brittle.
