Dome light
Driving home today and my interior lights came on and won't go out. It's not the headlight switch, and does not appear to be the door jamb switches. I know there is a delay timer that can be problematic. I have not looked at the wiring diagram yet. Thought I would post here first as I am sure I'm not the first one on here to see this problem. Suggestions?

There is a circuit board timer behind glove box toward the passenger side b pillar . Replacing that fixed my 82 interior lights staying on problem. I think I got mine from Zip or corvette central.

Locate the timer behind the glove box.
Remove the timer.
Connect the 2 white wires together, and the lights will go on and off as you open and close the doors.

Since I hate it when a questions is posted, multiple guys offer their help, and we never hear what the final result was, here's the follow-up to my problem:
Today I located the module behind the glove box and unplugged it. That got the lights to go out. I jumpered the two white wires together and now the interior lights work without the delay. New module is on order.
