12Volt supply to ballasted coil ?

12Volt supply to ballasted coil ?
I have an MSD Blaster 2 coil wired through a ballast resistor. Can i also wire this to one of the terminals on the starter solonoid to get a 12v boost whilst cranking. If so which terminal on the solonoid do i wire it to. Has anyone else done this with a blaster coil ?

There are three terminals on the starter. The large one for the battery cable and two small ones. The nearest one to the block will have a purple wire and operates the solinoid. The outer one is the ignition that puts a full 12V to the coil.
