1974 BB FRont Air Dam
So I had an overheat Friday, luckily no damage as it never went past 205 deg F...it was 101 deg F and after driving it puked all the coolant out at a gas station 20 miles from town.
Upon investigation and flushing the rad, replacing the cap and putting on a 180 deg F TStat I found the front air dam missing. Normally I jus drive around town but on a fast hyway along with interstate travel and me hammering it....she i can guess did not get enough are through the rad.
Would every one agree?
Any one have a picture of the front air dam installed?
I ask cause I have access to a machine / sheet metal shop and I can make an aluminum one.
Maybe it's better being plastic.....guessing that don't last that long.....probably better to just break off?
Looks like Corvette Central is the best pricing....almost half of others i found.

If anyone has installed pics with a clearance dimension i'd apprciate it.
