Default Need new wheel studs after installing spacer

1978 c3 corvette rally wheels.

Hi all. Need to get longer wheel studs. I installed the spacers below:

Wilwood 0.197 inch Wheel Spacers 300-11961

Due to the new wilwood calipers being a hair too big and scrapping the inside of the wheel. Regardless I need new studs. I believe something like 1/2-20 in. x 2 in. Long, .589 in. Diameter Size? Any thoughts and any suggestions on new lug nuts while I’m at it?

While im at it, any suggestions on new lug nuts.

have you considered looking for longer shank lug nuts to reach the current studs... how far did you space out?
sorry just seen spacer size... you should be fine with longer shank lug nuts, im doing the same right now with 5mm spacers and 1/4" longer shank lug nuts

Instead of the steel rally wheels, would YJ8 wheels fit without spacers? They're 15 lbs lighter, and in your profile image.

I broke some studs, and upgraded to 1/2" ARP studs. It was no small effort. Hopefully the longer shank solution works for you.

you said rallies so much like this

I have vintage wheels so with the 5mm spacer I will use these

You can do a search for extended lug nuts generally made for the use of small spacers to catch the threads better

Those spacers look like the old type used back in the 70's to use Crager SS wheels on a vette. They would cause the lug nuts to loosen over time, sometimes causing a problem.

I could see how that would be a problem

Plus the oem wheel stud size is 7/16” diameter, not 1/2”.
